Hours are Monday-Friday 8:
00 AM-4:
30 PM.
Applicants should be computer literate, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while delivering excellent customer service and accuracy.
Duties include:
Communicates with patients and guests including greeting them upon arrival, confirming identity and providing necessary information related to their visit Completes check-in/out functions as directed Confirms and updates patient identification and demographic/insurance information Completes patient registration as needed Obtains patient consents/authorizations Collects co-payments, past due balances and point of service payments Posts payments, process billing information and perform end of day cash drawer closing Doing benefit investigations, pre-authorizations, pre-determinations and approvals for all tests, procedures and surgeries Schedules appointments as necessary Answering phones Travel to Illinois Retina's offices when possible for vacation/sick time coverage in other offices.
