Pool Service Technician/Apprentice

No experience is necessary, only the willingness to learn, work hard, and do the job that's assigned.
Any candidate must be able to learn quickly, communicate with managers and clients effectively, and take great pride in any work they perform.
Simple IRA, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off are available.
Although not a sales position, commission is earned often on sales.
Bonuses are also common and available based on the individual revenue generated and attributed to the employee, as a result of services they directly perform.
Experience will determine job duties, responsiblities and compensation.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
Cleaning pools and maintaining proper water chemistry with test kit Safely working with hazardous chemicals and maintaining records of usage Understand and carry out written directions.
Maintain Records and invoicing customers Be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized and stocked vehicle Recognizing equipment in need of repair or replacement Servicing major pool equipment such as pumps, motors, and filters.
Opening and closing of in ground pools Assisting in replacing pool liners and covers Repairing or replacing pool equipment Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, co-workers and office staff.
Selling and promoting our services and products Performing minor plumbing and electrical work Complying with all safety procedures, inclusive of safe working and driving habits Taking pride in your work and being respectful to others Requirements:
Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED Must have valid driver's license Must be legally able to work in the United States Must be able to lift at least 75lbs Must possess exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to use smartphone and email.
Basic knowledge of cleaning/ maintaining pools a plus but we will train Electrical and plumbing experience a plus Must be able to effectively communicate in English in written/ oral forms Part time starting immediately for training, with full time hours starting in mid-April through October with plenty of overtime.
Must work some Saturdays Must work well in teams as well as independently with little supervision Benefit Conditions:
