Alternating 1/2 Day Saturday, Closed Sunday (more hours are available/optional) Service Leaders are also field technicians Full-time, Hourly Pay based on experience

Our backstage cast also is there to support your success by helping with part sourcing, warranty accounts, and service coordinators.
To help you succeed, we provide access to manufacturer tech line phone and online support, weekly tech meetings, one monthly tech meeting with breakfast and hands-on training, along with regular online technical training as well as the potential to attend regional or national training events.

Responsibilities:
Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home (examples include; refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, etc.
) Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced Track all equipment, parts, and supplies delivered to you by staff Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions Job Requirements:
1-3 years of appliance repair experience High school graduate or equivalent Valid Driver's License with a clean record Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a background, driving, and drug screen Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property Problem-solving skills Enjoy team environment / Team-player Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.

In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
