Sales Associate Orland Park, IL, USA Req #660 Sunday, February 20, 2022 Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers as they enter the store, tending to customer needs, and selling product with the highest level of customer service at all timesSales Associates also assist the Management team with day to day store operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBe the driving force behind the ALEX AND ANI message of positive energyExpert on product knowledge by keeping current on all new collections as well as core product lines to assist customersOperate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawersIntroduce promotions and sale opportunities to customersEnsure the highest level of customer service by assisting customers with concerns and exchangesCommunicates client feedback, business trends, and recommendations to the store management teamConsistently upholds a neat, clean and organized store and stockroomAssist in visual presentation standards and ensuring the store is replenished at all timesMaintains compliance with Retail Operations Policy and ProceduresAssist the Management team in the protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external lossTravelThis position requires limited travel; 0-25%Qualifications and RequirementsRetail Sales experienceExcellent communication and time-management skillsMaintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environmentCapable of lifting up to 40 poundsThe ability to read, write, and perform basic mathThe ability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the businessThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this jobDuties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
